Accor Première Vacation Club Selects SPI’s Enterprise Software
February 1, 2008 by Timeshare News
Systems Products International (SPI) announced it has successfully completed the implementation of its enterprise system on behalf of Australia-based timeshare/holiday ownership resort developers Accor Première Vacation Club (APVC).
SPI Director of Sales Matt Brosious says, “Our enterprise system will answer the full range of APVC’s software needs, including marketing, in-house marketing, tours, sales, commissions, premium/gift tracking, reservations, club dues billing, receivables administration and resort operations. We are excited to be part of the growth of a phenomenal company doing business in this part of the world.”
According to Accor Première’s Executive Director of Marketing Jim Sabot, “We originally selected SPI because we were impressed by their reputation for service.” Mike Winlaw, who serves APVC as Executive Director of Group Strategy and Commercial Services, agrees. “They have shown themselves ready to jump on a plane and fly to our home base in Australia when the need arises, a true partnership approach,” says Winlaw. “Another item that factored into the decision was the company’s use of .Net technology, which provides open architecture and lends itself to self-service. We are using SPI’s system’s various tools to create unique reports and can query the database for specific statistical and analytical information. Plus, we can interface information from other systems with SPI’s database so that data can seamlessly be accessed by multiple systems.”
Accor Première’s plans call for controlled growth of its timeshare segment “that will enable us to be a leading player in the Asian holiday ownership industry,” reveals Winlaw. “We are confident that our decision to go with SPI’s software will ensure that we have the tools to support our strategic and operational activities well into the foreseeable future.”
