Captran Reunion Set for Nov. 4
September 26, 2007 by Timeshare News
Captran, Inc. and Keith Trowbridge, one of Florida’s first major timeshare developers, is having a reunion of former employees and is inviting everyone who ever worked for or with the company to attend a party on Sunday, November 4, 2007 in Fort Myers, Florida.
Long before Marriott, Hilton, or Disney even thought about developing timeshare resorts, Captran Resorts International was the undisputed leader of the timeshare industry from the mid-70s to the mid-80s. Founded on Sanibel Island, on Florida’s west coast, the company was one of the first to implement many elements of the business that are now considered standard.
According to Keith Trowbridge, former CEO and company founder, “We thought it would be fun to have another Captran Employees Reunion to allow all the ‘Captranites’ to get together once again. The last reunion was a blast with people coming from all corners of the timeshare world. Many of our former employees and associates are now in positions of major importance in our industry and are located throughout the world. They learned a great deal in those early days of timesharing.”

Trowbridge, who now owns Executive Quest, an executive search business for the timeshare industry, is requesting that those who plan on attending contact him at Keith@execq.com or via phone at 239-454-1100.
