Deborah Linden Honored At Rollins College

Crummer Graduate School of Business unveils Entrepreneur of the Year Wall of Fame plaque 

 

Deborah Linden, CEO of Island One Resorts, was honored at the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College on February 15, 2007. In recognition of her pioneering success in the real estate and timeshare industries, Linden’s Entrepreneur of the Year plaque was unveiled on the Dynetech Corporation Wall of Fame. This recognition was in follow up to the Orlando Business Journal Entrepreneur of the Year event held this past December.

 

At Rollins, Linden shared her experiences and vision of success with the student and general public audience. She described how innovation, creativity and perseverance had grown her company to its $68 million annual revenues of today. She emphasized a spirit of pursuing your dreams and personal vision, the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people and creating a supportive work environment.
 

“I was thrilled at the opportunity to share my entrepreneurial story with the Rollins College students,” said Linden. “Their enthusiasm and energy are compelling, and show me the great effect they will have upon the local business community when they graduate. I look forward to working with the Center for Entrepreneurship in its community outreach efforts in the future.”
