Dial An Exchange (DAE), one of the world’s largest independently owned timeshare exchange companies, has acquired the RedWeek Exchange Program after three years of providing back office support and playing an integral role in the development of the program.
DAE has been in the timeshare exchange business for 13 years and plans on growing the RedWeek Exchange business with the personal customer service that has made them a staple in direct-to-consumer timeshare exchanges worldwide.
RedWeek.com, the popular timeshare rental and resale website, began offering its online timeshare exchange service three years ago. In 2008, RedWeek received the American Resort Development Association ACE Innovator Award for its groundbreaking exchange program. [member]
“We were happy to see such an enthusiastic reception to the exchange service” says Randy Conrads, RedWeek founder and CEO ”We believe that the combination of RedWeek’s and DAE’s respective areas of expertise will provide better service to our exchanging members and allow RedWeek to do what we do best: facilitating rental and resale transactions between timeshare owners and the traveling public”.
By acquiring the RedWeek Exchange Program and maintaining a prominent presence on the RedWeek site, DAE is able to offer additional benefits to RedWeek members including:
• Toll free number and personal email contact with exchange counselors
• The ability to request a week that is not currently available
• The ability to put a week on hold for 24 hours before booking
“We’re in the business of conducting exchange transactions, that’s all we do”, states Dial An Exchange Vice President Fermin Cruz. “We can support those transactions under any brand, or service members directly under the DAE brand. We let our clients decide”.
“We are very excited about taking on the direct relationship with RedWeek members. Our service is what earns us repeat and referral business, which accounts for over 50 percent of new member acquisitions,” states Dial An Exchange CEO Francis Taylor. “Our relationship with RedWeek has always been a strong one. We value this opportunity and look forward to an even stronger partnership moving forward”.
All of the DAE Exchange services will continue to be offered on RedWeek.com and a toll free number will be posted to answer any questions members might have concerning the transition, new benefits that are available, and how members can best use the new services.
