Donald Trump Gets Green Light For Scottish Resort

After a long wait, the Scottish Government have finally agreed to the plans for a £1 billion gof resort by US real estate tycoon Donald Trump which was originally rejected by the local council and objected to by other organisations such as the Scottish Natural Heritage.
The resort will now go ahead and consist of two 18 hole golf courses, dubbed to be the best in the world, 950 timeshare units, 500 private homes, 36 villas, a golf academy and 5 star hotel, and whilst stipulations were put in place, such as enviromental issues to be overseen by Scottish Natural Heritage, Aberdeenshire’s council during construction; the additional building of a primary school, shops, low cost housing and starter homes on nearby land as part of the deal it is also clear that the 6,000 jobs this project will create including 1,400 permanent postions for local staff will have a positive effect on the local economy.
