Group RCI To Give Christel House International $100K

Group RCI in Carmel, part of Wyndham Worldwide (NYSE: WYN), plans to donate $100,000 to Christel House International next week. Christel DeHaan co-founded the time share company in 1974. She also found Christel House International, a public charity helping children around the world to break the cycle of poverty.

What: Geoff Ballotti, president and CEO of Group RCI and Christel DeHaan, Co-Founder of RCI, the world’s largest timeshare exchange company and Founder of Christel House International, will join over 500 Group RCI employees and their families at the “Summer of Christel House” block party that’s being held to raise funds for Christel House International.

The five-hour event will include many fun games of chance, family-friendly activities and will feature: a dunk tank appearance by Group RCI President and CEO at 4:30pm; a special musical performance by the students of Christel House South Africa at 7:00pm; and the check presentation at 7:45pm.

At the close of the event, Christel House International will be presented with a check for $100,000 in donations that Group RCI has raised over the past few months in support of the charity.

Why: The “Summer of Christel House” block party is the company fundraising event that was developed by the employees of Group RCI in Carmel, Indiana, to raise money for this important charity. Christel House International is Group RCI’s global charity of choice.
