Exclusive Private Residence Club First Resort In Branded Program

Preferred Residences™, a hospitality branded membership and exchange program for luxury shared ownership resorts, announced that La Tranquila® Breathtaking Resort – Spa & Beach Club is the first resort to join the network. Interval International and Preferred Hotel Group formed a strategic alliance last year to develop the high-end, branded program for fractional resorts, private residence clubs, and condominium-style hotels.

Upon completion, La Tranquila will have 169 lavish private residences set on nearly 30 pristine acres in Punta Mita and the neighboring Litibu, the highly desirable new area in the Bahia de Banderas located about 40 miles to the northwest of Puerto Vallarta. Known as the “hand-made” resort owing to its marriage of Mexican cultural tradition with modern luxury and privacy, La Tranquila will offer its owners and visitors the ultimate in services and amenities.

In addition to La Tranquila, the group has plans to develop multiple private residence clubs in Mexico.
