OTE Announces Next Chairman - Richard McIntosh

The Organisation for Timeshare in Europe’s (OTE) Board of Directors have nominated Richard McIntosh, Managing Director of Hilton International Grand Vacations Company as the next OTE Chairman.

Richard will take up the position at the Annual General Meeting this October succeeding Dénes Pieke, Holiday Club Hungary who will then have completed a two year term.

“The OTE chairmanship represents a significant challenge and I look forward to it,” said Mr McIntosh. “Being more involved with the European business, it comes at a time as Hilton looks to develop its own business internationally.”

Beginning his career in the hotel industry in 1980 as a management trainee for Comfort Hotels International, Mr McIntosh was also General Manager for Exeter Golf & Country Club and joined Craigendarroch Hotel in Scotland in 1985. From here he held a number of positions before becoming Managing Director of HIGVC in 1999.

Hilton International Grand Vacations Company operates three resorts in Scotland, one in Portugal, another in Egypt and is the international (outside USA) division of the Hilton Hotels Corporation responsible for time ownership.
