ASSOCIATES is
an international consulting and market
research firm to the resort industry. Founded in 1974 by Dr. Richard
Ragatz,
the firm has conducted nearly 2,000 studies for resort developments in
48
states and over 70 countries.
The firm provides two primary services: feasibility analyses and market
research. It specializes in the shared-ownership components of the
resort industry,
including fractional interests, private residence clubs, destination
clubs and
resort timeshare.
Dick
Ragatz is
President of Ragatz Associates. His Ph.D.
dissertation from Cornell University
in 1969 is recognized as the first
national study on vacation homes ever conducted in the United States.
Since 1969, he has published more than 50 articles on resort
development for
academic journals and trade magazines. He also has delivered more than
350
speeches on resort development at conferences throughout the world.
