RESORTCOM INTERNATIONAL NAMES STEVEN HICKS VICE PRESIDENT, RESORT DIVISION

ResortCom International LLC has named Steven Hicks as Vice President, Resort Division. The San Diego-based ResortCom International provides the vacation ownership and resort industry with financial and resort operations services.
Steven Hicks comes to ResortCom from Shell Vacations, LLC where he was President of the Hospitality Division. He directed all aspects of the Hospitality Management Division for Shell including its 22 vacation ownership resorts, 1500 employees and more than 30 homeowner associations. His management responsibilities included 100,000 owners and members.
Hicks, a Registered Resort Professional, is active in ARDA (American Resort Development Association) serving on its Resort Operations Council. He is highly regarded as a time share industry expert and is a frequent speaker for the ARDA’s workshops and roundtables. He is also designated as a CHA (Certified Hotel Administrator) through the American Hotel and Lodging Association.
“Our plan is to increase the Resort division to 40 to 50 properties in the next five years; with Steven as the senior executive leading our team we can rest assured that our current properties continue to run smoothly as we grow the development of this division,” said John Small, Chairman of ResortCom International. “His 30 years of highly respected and proven leadership skills in the vacation ownership industry is a valuable asset to ResortCom as we continue our expansion.”
Currently ResortCom has nine resorts under contract located in Park City, Kona, Mexico, and Puerto Rico, with, according to John Small, “four more in the pipeline.”
