Shell Vacations Hospitality Selects New Resort Managers

Shell Vacations Hospitality has recently announced several new promotions in its western and Hawaii regions, according to Susan Kelley, President of the company. “All of these new managers are seasoned veterans in the resort timeshare industry. We are proud to have them on our growing team of hospitality professionals.”
Linda Anthony, Vice President of Shell Vacations Hospitality in Hawaii has announced Jasmine Lopez-Silva has been named General Manager of the 108-unit Kauai Coast Resort, supervising 48 employees. Previously, she served as General Manager of the 73-unit Holua Resort at Mauna Loa Village and brings to her new position over 21 years of hospitality management expertise in the Hawaiian Islands.
Kalae Wheeler replaced Lopez-Silva as the General Manager at the Holua Resort. She has been with Shell Vacations Hospitality since 1995, most recently as Regional Association Manager, overseeing all association functions for nine company-managed associations in Hawaii.
In Arizona, Michael Miller, Regional VP of Shell Vacations Hospitality, Southwest Region announced that Bruce Hamm has returned to the Shell Vacations Hospitality team as General Manager of the 162-room Orange Tree Golf Resort in Scottsdale, supervising over 200 employees. Says Miller, “Bruce has been a fixture with the company in Arizona since 1987, serving as director of security rooms division manager and assistant GM. He was an ARDA Gold award winner in the owner relations category and the recipient of numerous Shell management awards. For 15 years, he was a high school wrestling and cross country coach in Phoenix.”
Also in Arizona, Pam Patterson CMP from Orange Tree Golf Resort’s Sales and Marketing team was recently inducted as President of the Board of Directors of the Arizona Chapter of the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International. This is the second largest chapter in the U S. Pam has been a sales manager at Shell Vacations for the past eight years. She was HS&MAI’s Board Member of the Year in 2007.
In California, Jeff Pank, Regional Vice President of Shell Vacations Hospitality has announced two new appointments. “I am pleased to announce that Joe Michl has become Area General Manager for Peacock Suites and Harbor Vacations Club, assuming overall responsibilities for both properties. He has been with Shell Vacations Hospitality for over five years, bringing tremendous knowledge and experience to his new position.”
At the company’s Peacock Suites resort in Anaheim, Aileen Alon-Alon, who has been at the resort for over eleven years, has been promoted to Assistant General Manager. “Her drive, commitment and contributions have earned her this promotion, added Pank.”
