SHELL VACATIONS PROMOTES EXECUTIVES AT CANADIAN RESORTS

October 10, 2006 – Northbrook, IL – Shell Vacations LLC has recently promoted two top administrative executives at its Canadian vacation ownership resorts.
Simon Crawford-Welch, Ph.D., RRP, Executive Vice President of Shell Vacations LLC, has announced the following promotions
Lorrie J. Shewchuk, as Canadian Regional Director of Support Services, has assumed responsibility for overseeing support services for SVC - Mountainside ULC in Whistler, B.C. in addition to her current responsibilities for Carriage Hills Resort Corporation in Barrie, Ontario.
Said Crawford-Welch, “Lorrie has been with Shell Vacations for over ten years, since Carriage Hills Resort opened in 1996 in Ontario, Canada. She began her association with us as executive assistant to the project director and advanced to the position of Director of Support Services in July 1998. Her supreme organizational skills and penchant for details will enable her to substantially increase her workload as she takes on new responsibilities for our second Canadian resort, Mountainside Lodge, located at the opposite side of the country.”
Additionally, Pat Harrison will assume new responsibilities at SVC - Mountainside Lodge ULC, as the newly appointed Canadian Regional Accounting Manager. She will now handle all site accounting functions at both Canadian properties including payroll and accounts payable. There are a total of 160+ Shell Vacations employees at both resorts. Harrison has also been with Carriage Hills Resort Corporation since its opening over ten years ago.

Located north of Barrie, Ontario, in Horseshoe Valley, construction on the 172-two bedroom units at Carriage Hills Resort was completed in 2002. Construction on the adjacent Carriage Ridge Resort was completed at the end of 2004 and features 78 two-bedroom lock-off units.
In January 2005, Shell Vacations purchased the 78-unit Mountainside Lodge, located in the popular four seasons resort area of Whistler in British Columbia, Canada. (Whistler has been named the site for the 2010 Winter Olympics.)
