Shell Vacations Promotes Key Executives

Senior management team represents over 100 years of combined timeshare experience
The most valuable asset a vacation ownership developer can posses is not its physical properties or the product it sells, but its people … especially when genuine passion and an indomitable spirit to succeed fuel a company’s corporate culture.
In announcing promotions of five senior management members, Shell Vacations LLC Chairman and CEO Sheldon Ginsburg enthused, “2007 was one of the most profitable years in our company‘s 44-year history. Today, we are experiencing amazing momentum. All of our engines are on full-speed ahead and driven by a dynamic team with professional credentials that collectively total over 100 years in the timeshare industry. They are perfectly positioned to lead Shell Vacations into the future.”
Since promoting Tracy Sherles to President of Shell Vacations LLC, (a position he previously held), Ginsburg will now concentrate more on strategic plans for the company. He will remain Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
“In her nine years with our company,” said Ginsburg, “Tracy has proven to be a consummate expert in program planning and development and ground-to-ceiling management. An authority on points-based vacation systems, she single-handedly built our Shell Vacations Club from scratch into the multi-million dollar program it is today. Tracy truly exemplifies what it is to be a leader, and I am proud to have her in this prominent position for Shell Vacations.” (Sherles also oversees Shell Vacations Hospitality and Shell Vacations Systems (SVS), the franchising initiative, which she created.}
“We are experiencing passion and spirit like never before,” stated Sherles. “As we expand, we will continue to provide opportunities for great performers to further cultivate their growth. Having bench strength keeps us insulated in the event that reinforcements are needed. I am proud to lead this team and announce the promotions of four key executives.”
After 13 years of commandeering the growth and success of Shell Vacations Hospitality, Susan C. Kelley has been named President of the management company, having most recently served as Senior Vice President. With 40 years of experience in the hospitality industry and 29 of those years in timesharing, her responsibilities at Shell Vacations Hospitality include supervising 19 resorts, 25 owner associations and 1,300 hospitality team members. Shell Vacations Hospitality has consistently been named in the Top 100 management companies in the country and enjoyed a record year for revenues in 2007.
With more than eight years of experience in building and operating the points-based Shell Vacations Club (SVC), Paul Adreani has been appointed its President. During 2008, he is expected to service over 600,000 member calls and will direct the Club’s overall financial responsibility. This includes member servicing, inventory and yield management, partner programs, and performance analysis.
Most recently serving as senior vice president for Shell Vacations Systems’ (SVS) groundbreaking franchise program, veteran timeshare professional Joseph Malone Jr. has been named Vice President, Sales & Marketing Operations. As National Director of Sales Operations, he earlier contributed to the launch and rollout of Shell Vacations’ points-based vacation ownership product.
Completing the new appointments is Franklin Khedouri, who was named President of Shell Vacations Systems, the franchising division of the company. He joined Shell Vacations in 1992 and has served in a number of key positions, most recently as senior vice president of SVS, which he was instrumental in helping develop.
Concluded Ginsburg, “These executives bring the passion and professionalism to provide unparalleled guidance as we begin a new year. We are proud to announce their promotions. Fueled by the energy and enthusiasm of our employees and corporate leaders, during 2008, we intend to continue to concentrate on the bottom line - not the top line - and have fun and make money in that order.”
