TAMARACK RESORT TRANSITIONS EXTERNAL AFFAIRS OVERSIGHT

August 22, 2007 by Timeshare News

As Tamarack Resort strategically reassesses its organizational structure; the resort is transitioning all External Affairs responsibilities – externally. Vice President of External Affairs and Communications Scott Turlington is embracing the entrepreneurial spirit of Tamarack by starting his own strategic consulting and advisory agency – Turlington and Associates, LLC.

“Tamarack was privileged to have Scott join our senior management team when he left Governor Kempthorne’s office in 2004. His ability to work with state and federal  officials and agencies, has played a key role in the success of Tamarack and will continue to be integral in his new capacity moving forward,” said Jean-Pierre Boespflug, Tamarack CEO. “We applaud and support his decision to move to the next stage of his career with the successful formation of Turlington and Associates, LLC.”
The agency will specialize in government affairs, business development, regulatory affairs, and political advocacy.

“This is a tremendous opportunity for Scott to launch his own consulting practice,” said Alfredo Miguel, Tamarack Chairman of the Board. “He will continue to play a crucial role in Tamarack’s development as the resort will be a principal client for his new company. We are looking forward to a long relationship with Turlington and Associates.”
“I am extremely fortunate to have had the opportunity to be involved in Tamarack from the inception to its reality,” said Turlington. “It’s not every day that a person has a chance to be part of such an exciting opportunity and work with such talented and driven individuals. Tamarack represents a new paradigm for resort development in the U.S. and once again, Idaho has been part of history in the making.”

In addition to Tamarack Resort, Turlington will also provide strategic consultation to several new communities in the Mountain West; Idaho’s newest outdoor adventure community—Southfork Landing, and Avimor—a SunCor master-planned development. Turlington will also specialize in policy and business development ventures both here in the U.S. and internationally.
