TATOC Hopes For A Record Attendance At Their 2008 Annual Conference

December 17, 2007 by Timeshare News

The next annual The Association Of Timeshare Committees (TATOC) conference takes place in March 2008 with organisers hoping for a record attendance. The results of the OTE Owner Satisfaction Survey in 2006 appears to have brought an increased focus on the importance of timeshare owners… with some industry observers labelling owners as the timeshare industry’s strongest asset.

“If owners are the timeshare industries strongest asset (and I believe we are) then TATOC is an association that should see increased support from the industry. I would like to see this support come in the shape of an increased attendance at our annual event and increased sponsorship from key industry players. We are certainly planning to make our 2008 event one to remember,” said Harry Taylor, Secretary General of TATOC.

The conference takes place from 7th – 9th March 2008 at the Park Royal Hotel in Stretton Warrington. The event commences with dinner on the Friday evening. The main proceedings occur on Saturday with a gala dinner and entertainment. Conference sessions will conclude on Sunday lunchtime.

The theme of the 2008 event is “Embracing Change” with all speakers briefed to provide a future assessment and predictions about what the next five years will bring for the timeshare industry.

“We believe that the growth and sustainability of TATOC is an important part of the future for timeshare here in Europe and we plan to substantiate that claim during our conference. We really do hope the players with the greatest vested interest in timeshare come along to support us”

Amongst a yet to be disclosed line up of interesting speakers, Mr. Taylor pledged that TATOC will share how they plan to future proof their organisation and how the support of the industries bigger players forms an important part of their new plans.
