The Family of Orange Lake Resorts, based in Orlando, Fla., announces the completion of a $3-million renovation program at its Orange Lake Vermont resort, located in Vermont’s Ascutney Mountain Resort Complex, a quick drive from anywhere in New England.

Villa interiors now feature redesigned floor plans and décor, while villa exteriors now sport new siding and roofs.   Both the indoor and outdoor swimming pools have been completely renovated, as well as the playground area and landscaping.

“We are making this mountain getaway even greater with villa renovations and outdoor area enhancements,” said Don Harrill, President and CEO for The Family of Orange Lake Resorts.  “It’s a new destination resort area that our owners and their families will love.”

Orange Lake owners and guests enjoy numerous amenity and service privileges at the Ascutney Mountain Resort Complex including 56 trials for alpine and cross country skiing, snowboarding and snow tubing along with the Strong House Spa, fitness center, Alpine Cinema, Mountainside Ski Lodge and Apres Ski, a variety of restaurants and eateries, and a ski and rental shop.

The Family of Orange Lake Resorts has evolved from a best-kept secret as the world’s largest single-site timeshare resort to a multi-site resort with a growing network.  New resort additions in Wisconsin, Vermont and Florida were carefully selected and tailored for their owners, resulting in the creation of a brand new member exchange program, GlobalAccess™, to facilitate reservations within the resort network.  Orange Lake’s flagship location in Orlando was established in 1982 by Holiday Inn® Founder, Kemmons Wilson. The company plans to continue the expansion of their resort network and is actively seeking more growth opportunities to continue being the “home-away-from-home” to more than 110,000 owners from all 50 U.S. states and more than 120 countries.
