TAN employees help fund a fall festival celebration for young heart patients
Travel Advantage Network (TAN), the nationwide leader in wholesale vacation accommodations, has taken a stand against congenital heart defects. TAN is supporting those who suffer from these conditions through fundraising and donations to go toward a fall festival celebration for young patients.
“Our TAN employees have made it a company mission to reach out to community charitable organizations,” said TAN President Brad Callahan. “I’m extremely proud of how they join together for so many causes close their hearts. Our caring employees are what make our TAN family so unique.”
TAN’s support of children with congenital heart defects was led by employee Jennifer Ross, who is also a significant supporter of this cause in her personal time. Jennifer led TAN employees in raising funds and toy donations valued at close to $1,000 to be used at the fall festival.
TAN employees rotate each month by choosing an organization they wish to support; then fellow employees join in the fundraising efforts. In addition to their support of children with congenital heart defects, since January 2008 TAN employees have raised and donated thousands of dollars to help in the fight against muscular dystrophy, autism, arthritis, juvenile alopecia and social issues such as hunger.
