Trendwest South Pacific, one of Australia’s largest holiday ownership businesses, has just announced that it will be rebranding to become Wyndham Vacation Resorts Asia Pacific.

The business’ President and CEO Barry Robinson has said that this move has been made to enable better leverage of the Wyndham name of its parent company which is one of the world’s largest hospitality companies, Wyndham Worldwide.

“Adopting the Wyndham name within our timeshare business in Asia Pacific is a significant leap forward in our global brand strategy and sets the stage for further development of mixed-use hotel and timeshare properties throughout our international system,” said Robinson.

“Associating the Wyndham brand with our world-class vacation ownership properties dramatically broadens the presence of our flagship brand throughout the marketplace, in both Australia and our international locations.”

The rebranding process will take place throughout the course of 2007. For more information about Wyndham Worldwide, visit their website at http://www.wyndhamworldwide.com/.
